Hello World!

Welcome to WordPress.com. Is this yet another Blog, Bud?

Yes.  And, umm, no. There is a Blog here. I hope it will aggregate several other Blogs, a few of which I actually pay attention to. Therein lies the rub, you see. I have one Blog that I attend to faithfully, and several others that languish in the backwaters of forgotten commitments. My friends tell me I need a “writing” Blog (got one). My friends tell me I need a Blog to write about my journey with cancer. (Got one.) I have Yahoo friends (and a 360 Blog), and MicroSoft friends (and a MicroSoft Space, with Blog), and AOL friends (with a Journal). I have a Blog on Lycos (for no apparent reason), MySpace (which almost came down till some friends found it), and Xanga (which I haven’t visited in years!).  I have a Blog about my Prayer Journey (along with others, at Blogspot).

Are you seeing the dilemma here?  It was such a grand idea, back in the day. I have political Blogs, Blogs on faith and religion, Essay Blogs (even one on blogging!), and Forum Blogs. I need a place to aggregate the results, and organize the work. I don’t want to send anyone, anywhere!  Isn’t there one place where I can Blog daily, regardless of the topic? 

I believe this is such a place. I will use categories, and build Chateau de Budroe into the “residential” structure that will accomodate my needs, and my purpose. This is that place. I am a professional, published author who writes across several genres. I have a couple of professional writing sites, and a home webpage which supports my writing endeavors. I write a lot! 

I hope you will join me here, and see what is important enough in my world to write about. After all, that is how we develop the conscience, isn’t it?
