My name is Bud Fields.  My payroll signature reads M. B. “Bud” Fields, Jr.  You can call me Bud.

I am a 52 year-old single male, currently living his bliss in Southern Illinois. I am a writer, among other things. I teach writing, and I love writing, developing, and teaching writing (and other) courses online.

I love music, debate, philosophy, religion, and travel.

My hobbies include pretty much anything at all to do with writing, programming, or the Internet. I love to travel, and spent nearly ten years as a professional truck driver.

I am a musician, and a music educator. I am a retired Chaplain from the US Army, and an inactive (at this time) Christian (DoC) minister.

I have many interests. I have a lot of things that I want to say about a lot of things. Most of them get said elsewhere. This site is meant to change that.
